The starting point is not another tool or certification.

It is understanding fundamentals.

Learn how data flows through systems. Learn how models are trained, evaluated, and monitored. Study real production failures rather than success stories. Build small systems end to end so you experience where things break and why they break.

This kind of learning feels slower than tool adoption. But it compounds in a way shortcuts never do.
