| This is me demonstrating management principles with a cricket bat during an engaging session, showing energy and creativity in public speaking. |
A few nights ago, I was on a Zoom coaching session.
nWe started at 9 PM.
n
By the time we wrapped up, it was 11:15 PM.
nAnd guess what?
n
I was still speaking at full volume, fully present, as if it was 11:15 in the morning.
n
No tired tone.
nNo forced enthusiasm.
nJust natural, high energy.
n
And that’s when it hit me…
n
This is my edge.
nThis is what makes people listen.
nThis is how I win conversations.
n
n
I Show Up the Same Way for Everyone
n
It honestly doesn’t matter who I’m talking to…
n
→ A premium client paying me in dollars
n→ Or someone who can’t afford anything yet
n
→ A group coaching call with 100 people
n→ Or a one-on-one with someone figuring out their next step
n
→ A YouTube Live with hundreds watching
n→ Or a pre-recorded video where it’s just me and the camera
n
Every time, I try to show up with the same energy and intent.
nBecause people can feel it.
nAnd energy doesn’t lie.
n
n
Why Energy Matters More Than You Think
n
We often focus so much on what we’re saying.
nBut honestly? People forget words.
nWhat they remember is how we made them feel.
n
And that feeling comes from energy.
n
Here’s why it works:
n
1. People feel seen and valued
n
Showing up fully tells the other person:
n“You matter. I’m here for you.”
n
2. It builds trust faster
n
Consistent enthusiasm = dependable presence.
nPeople begin to trust you, not just for your skills, but for how you show up.
n
3. It makes you memorable
n
In a world full of calls, content, and conversations…
nEnergy helps you stand out.
n
n
What I Try to Do in Every Conversation
n
Over the years, I’ve come down to three simple things:
n
→ Show up with passion
nEven if it’s late. Even if I’m tired. The moment deserves it.
n
→ Speak with intent
nNo rambling. No fluff. Say what matters.
n
→ Deliver value with energy
nNot just information—but inspiration.
n
n
I Don’t Use Fancy Words or Clever Tricks
n
I’m not the smoothest speaker.
nI don’t use big words or shiny slides.
n
But I show up fully.
nAnd I give people my best.
n
That’s what moves conversations forward.
nThat’s what helps someone feel seen, heard, and supported.
nThat’s what builds long-term trust.
n
n
So, What’s the Takeaway?
n
Next time you’re about to jump on a call, record a video, or join a meeting—pause for a second.
n
Ask yourself:
n“Am I showing up like this moment matters?”
n
Because honestly, it does.
n
And when you treat every conversation like it counts,
nPeople notice.
nPeople remember.
nAnd people come back.
n
n
Let’s Wrap This Up
n
High energy and enthusiasm aren’t just feel-good traits.
nThey’re a real part of your brand, your influence, and your ability to connect.
n
So if you’re looking for a “secret weapon” in your career or content or coaching journey…
nTry showing up with energy that feels real.
nWith presence that can’t be faked.
nAnd with enthusiasm that’s hard to ignore.
n
That’s how I win conversations.
nAnd you can, too.
n
n
Your Turn
n
Have you ever noticed how someone’s energy changed the tone of a meeting or a call?
nOr have you ever felt more connected just because someone was fully present?
n
Drop your thoughts in the comments.
nI’d love to hear your stories.
